I will never forget the time I stood face to face with a demon. A former rock singer, new to the faith, told me God had given him a spiritual gift. He wanted to prophesy over me. But the moment I prayed for God’s protection, the truth was revealed. As he laid his hand on my shoulder, he began to speak — but when he got one detail about my fiancée wrong, I knew something wasn’t right. God doesn’t get details wrong. So I stopped him.
